I had never been a dog owner until I was adult. I had no knowledge about “pack mentality” or anything like that.
I thought if a dog was smart enough and loved enough it would train itself, more or less. I soon realized the difference between a well-trained dog and an untrained dog. An untrained dog could be dangerous to himself and everyone around him. It was time for help! Kyle came highly recommended, so I called him. Finally a slot opened up and MY training began.
Kyle taught me about the of importance being a good pack leader for my dog. That included a proper attitude, firm but positive, and how to project it. Through training I became more confident about being a leader, and as corny as it sounds, it helps me in my everyday life. I have a dog who listens, most of the time, and is a joy to be around. Although training never really ends, Kyle has given me the basics and the confidence to use them. Kyle is generous with his time. He is always available for questions from behavior to health. Anyone who works with Kyle can see that he has found and followed his “calling” in life. He is the “real deal.”
