Sarah Waldorf: Guru of the GSD

I have so many supporters throughout the county, state and even coast to coast— I thank all of you so, so much because without you I would not be where I am today.  That’s helping teach your dogs you love so much, breeding you dogs that are of elite working character to service the community and a sounding board for all of your canine questions from A to Z.

Well there’s one woman whom I crossed paths with in 2000— Sarah Waldorf, this woman deserves to be highlighted as a canine superstar for the role she plays in my life and the canine community.  I came to meet Sarah ten years ago when I was hired to train a GSD for a student of mine.  This dog was absolutely amazing in mind and body.  Now remember I have been working with GSDs for the better part of my young life and this dog was simply an outstanding specimen of the breed.  So much so that I reached out to Sarah to tell her what a fine job she did in creating this caliber of dog.  Now with the praise I gave her on that day she’d have to love me?! But I can assure you from that day forward she has been tolerating me and guiding me in the one area of the dog world that I certainly am no alpha dog or pack leader— breeding.  Sarah has been my coach while I was witnessing, assisting, and raising my little pups from birth to 8 weeks of age.  My dogs are my family, they are my life force so you see why I value Sarah for what and how she does things.

I went to visit Sarah way back when and I fell in love with her knowledge and passion.  The way that I am about working with dogs and getting in their heads is the way Sarah is with understanding genetics and breeding GSDs on every level imaginable.  This woman breathes dog as I do!  And deserves any and all recognition that she gets.  I’m sure if you saw my desperate emails to her about my psuedo-crisis that I have had with my breeding experiences you would never think we were from the same planet— like I said breeding the GSD is her domain in my eyes.

Remember I’m not a breeder, I only have a litter every ~3 years give or take 6 months.  This is the woman that I would send anybody to looking for a  quality GSD.

Sarah’s email address is:  maofryan@aol.com
